1. Appointments & Bookings
- All sessions are by appointment only.
- A booking is considered tentative until a deposit has been received (where applicable).
- Services may be provided in-studio or as a mobile/outcall service (hotel, Airbnb, or private residence).
- We reserve the right to decline a booking where details are incomplete, unsafe, or outside service areas/operating constraints.
2. Deposits & Payment
- A booking deposit may be required to secure the appointment.
- Deposits are deducted from the total session fee. The balance is payable at the session, unless agreed otherwise in advance.
- Online payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g., iKhokha). We do not store your card/banking details.
- Where clients select their own deposit amount, a minimum recommended deposit may apply for peak hours, travel, or VIP bookings.
3. Location, Access & Travel (Mobile / Hotel / Airbnb)
- For mobile bookings, the client must provide a complete address, access instructions, and any security/concierge procedures before the appointment.
- Hotel clients must ensure the therapist is permitted entry and that any guest policies allow service delivery. If a hotel denies access or delays entry, this may reduce session time and may be treated as a late arrival or cancellation.
- Any parking fees, access fees, or extraordinary entry requirements must be disclosed in advance and may be for the client’s account.
- For safety and professional standards, the therapist may require the booking to take place in a suitable, private space. If the environment is unsafe or unsuitable, the session may be refused or ended.
Hotel note: If hotel security/concierge procedures cause delays, the appointment time remains reserved.
Session length may be reduced to avoid overlap with subsequent bookings.
4. Punctuality, Late Arrivals & Timing
- Please be ready at the scheduled time. Late arrival by the client may reduce the session time while the full session fee remains payable.
- If the therapist is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, reasonable efforts will be made to adjust the schedule or provide an alternative time/date.
- For mobile bookings, travel times can be affected by traffic and access procedures; clients will be notified where possible.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Clients are requested to provide reasonable notice to reschedule.
- No-shows or repeated late cancellations may result in future bookings being declined.
- Deposits may be forfeited in the event of a no-show or late cancellation, subject to the separate Deposit & Refund Policy.
6. Professional Conduct & Session Boundaries
- All services are provided in a professional, respectful, and discreet manner.
- Harassment, coercion, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session without refund.
- The therapist reserves the right to refuse or end a session at any time for safety, legal, or professional reasons.
7. Health, Wellness & Client Disclosure
- Clients must disclose relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or sensitivities prior to the session.
- Massage services are provided for relaxation and wellness and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.
- Where appropriate, clients should seek medical clearance before receiving massage therapy.
8. Privacy & Discretion
- Client privacy is respected at all times. Booking information is used only for appointment management.
- By contacting via WhatsApp/SMS/email, you acknowledge those platforms are third-party services and may have their own privacy policies.
9. International Clients: Jurisdiction, Language & Compliance
- Services are provided in Cape Town, South Africa. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
- Pricing is generally quoted in South African Rand (ZAR). Any currency conversions are handled by your bank/payment provider.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they comply with hotel/building rules and any travel/visitor regulations applicable to their stay.
- If you are not fluent in English, you agree to seek translation/assistance to ensure you understand these terms before booking.
Non-resident & hotel guest note: If access is denied by security/management or required details are not provided,
the booking may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show.
10. Liability & Assumption of Risk
- Clients acknowledge that massage involves physical contact and may cause temporary soreness or sensitivity.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Master Male Massage Cape Town is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from scheduling, travel delays, or third-party access restrictions (e.g., hotel policies).
- Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a session, paying a deposit, or receiving services, you confirm acceptance of these Booking Terms & Conditions.
